ADORATION OF THE MAGI
detail: [link] [link] 8.5feet X 3,5 ft. Oil. This painting is my grand ambition and is still not complete. It is supposed to be a culmination of energy; Romantic, religious, virtuous, meditative, organic, ect. I want to achieve a perfect combination of flow and order, realism and mysticism, this world and the next. It should be seen as if the middle of the picture was the entrance to the world where your soul vacations and your life ends. It should be associated with the richest of values, the most calm of demeaners, the worst fears and the greatest ambitions. The people flying throug the air are metephores for people living there daily lves. It is a Painting of civilization, it representsa crux of civilization. The feeling of playfull optimism and warm regard. Daily DeviationGiven 2009-06-21To think that so grandiose a painting as Adoration Of The Magi is considered not yet finished by its creator *JacksonLamme, is definitely a testament to genuine passion for craftsmanship.
